The most expensive neighborhood in Budapest is the 5th district, on the Pest side, where you will pay on average EUR 5,500 per square meter. That is approximately 230 euros more than the runner-up which is the 12th district. Next are the 1nd and 2nd districts, where you have to pay approximately EUR 4,500 per square meter. The cheapest district in Budapest is the 23rd, where you can get away by paying EUR 1,700 per square meter.
